Meet the Producers
TESTIMONIALS
"As Outreach Producers, our main tasks consist of seeking and reaching out to a company to invite them as our Guest Designer, which we start this process in September. During the week of the show, when the Guest Designer is in Ames, we oversee their itinerary and ensure they are accounted for during all the events leading up to the show. We also ran our FundISU campaign in February, tracking all the donors and incentives accompanying the project. Lastly, we create and fulfill a merchandise collection, with the help of our Art Team designing the different designs that encapsulate the show's theme. Along with our big tasks, we also work alongside the Managerial Producers to assist in putting together the entire show with our 15 excellent committees and the fantastic Sarah Bennett-George!”
"Our role as Managerial Producers spreads wide across the entire TFS organization. We oversee all facets of planning the show and each event leading up to it, managing all 15 committees made up of over 150 students. We give the final approval on all decisions and work closely with our director teams and faculty advisor to plan The Fashion Show from all angles. While much of the work we do is behind the scenes, we lead the weekly class sessions and director meetings in the months leading up to the show. Above all, we collaborate with the Outreach Producers regularly on various crucial tasks contributing directly to the success of our organization."
Our annual show owes its success to the exceptional leadership of our Faculty Advisor, Sarah Bennett-George. Her unwavering guidance and unrivaled expertise have been instrumental in making our show a resounding success year after year. The entire TFS team says, "Thank you, SBG".
